The Glebe Hosts Mother’s Day Tea

Residents and their family members gathered on May 5 to celebrate the community’s mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers. The Glebe’s team commemorated Mother’s Day weekend early with a tea party.

The event featured pianist Al Broholm who played beautifully on the grand piano. Executive Chef Amy Gray created a delicious spread of petite pimento cheese, chicken salad and honey ham tea sandwiches. The menu also included baby bella mushroom caps stuffed with lump crab meat, deviled eggs, sliced cucumber with a whipped cream cheese topping and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
