The Glebe’s Vaccination Dates Tentatively Confirmed

The Glebe’s leadership team is pleased to report that late yesterday evening, CVS Pharmacy confirmed that the tentative dates for the community’s COVID-19 vaccine clinics have been set. Representatives from CVS advised that a team was prepared to administer the first dose of the vaccine to residents in the assisted living, memory support and healthcare neighborhoods on January 6.

As part of this first clinic, members of the leadership team were given the opportunity to receive the vaccine. Executive Director Ellen D’Ardenne, Director of Nursing Stephanie Clower and Medical Director Dr. Bradley Goad were among the first to be vaccinated.

“Getting the vaccine is the only way The Glebe’s community will be able to get back to a level of normalcy and I want us to stand up and work together to stop the spread of this devastating pandemic. Our leadership team was proud to step forward and be amongst the first here to get vaccinated. For my part, I was more afraid of getting COVID than of the vaccine.”

Ellen D’Ardenne
Executive Director

CVS representatives tentatively confirmed that the next COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held on January 27. At this clinic, all independent living residents and team members will receive the vaccine. Those residents and team members who were vaccinated on January 6 will receive the second dose of the vaccine on January 27 as well. A third clinic will be held on February 17. On that date, independent living residents and team members will receive the second dose of the vaccine.

Please be advised that these dates are tentatively confirmed by CVS. Pharmacy representatives will confirm the clinic dates within five days of the scheduled dates.
