January 24: COVID-19 Update

The Glebe’s leadership team appreciates your vigilance and support as COVID-19 cases are identified in the community. Please know we are doing all we can to keep you healthy and safe.

New Positive Results to Report Are as Follows:
• One environmental services team member who last worked on January 21. The positive case was identified today, January 24, after the team member was tested after becoming symptomatic.
• Two independent living residents were identified today, January 24.

The COVID-19 positive team member is quarantined at home until return-to-work criteria are met. The residents are quarantined at home for 10 days. Contact tracing has been completed. Anyone identified as having close contact has been contacted directly.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has been notified of the positive case. The Glebe team continues to follow all VDH recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus.

Anyone who is not feeling well at this time should not visit the community. We urge residents and team members to wear proper protective equipment and practice good hand hygiene.
