Assisted Living

In additional to offering Life Care, The Glebe currently offers direct admission to Assisted Living and Nursing Care. Fees for direct admission are a per day fee and charges for ancillary services and supplies. Call Amy at 540-591-2175 for information.

Our Assisted Living Center provides 32 private residences with supportive care. Services and care are provided for those who need assistance with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, personal care, medication monitoring, etc. Three meals are served daily. There is a full program of recreational, cultural, and social and spiritual opportunities. Each resident plans his or her own day, setting the pace and choosing activities, which can range from group exercise to relaxing with a good book.

Our Assisted Living private apartments feature a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, spacious closets, and a full bathroom.

Nursing Care

Our Health Care Center (a licensed nursing facility) offers 32 private rooms and provides services when you don’t need to be in a hospital, but need to be where you can receive 24-hour supervision and services provided by licensed medical and health care personnel.

In many cases, nursing care is required only briefly, such as after a hospital stay. If that is the case, the emphasis will be on helping you rehabilitate or to recuperate as quickly as possible so you can return to your apartment or cottage.

In some cases, a condition might be chronic or progressive, requiring long-term residence in the nursing center. No matter how long a stay is required – days, weeks, months or years – Life Care provides nursing care available through the on-site services for as long as necessary.
