“Terra Voce” is a flute and cello duo known for lively and creative programs combining the diverse and the unexpected. Sponsored in part by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, cellist Andrew Gabbert and flutist Elizabeth Brightbill will thrill audiences with their virtuosity, engaging, conversational style of presentation, and their genre-expanding programs that explore musical styles ranging from Baroque to Brazilian choro, contemporary tango, Irish traditional, and beyond.

Prior to moving to Virginia, Elizabeth and Andrew held principal and titled positions with the Tulsa Philharmonic Orchestra. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and teaches at Longwood University, Eastern Mennonite University and Bridgewater College. Andrew holds degrees from Louisiana State University and Indiana University and currently teaches at Randolph College, Lynchburg College and maintains a private studio in Crozet, Virginia.
